Dear Dailey~
Momma is way behind so we'll just call it a draw and start from here. :) You are 14 months old. Let's see if I can remember all the words you know- Mommy, Mimi, Pops, Gina, Dailey, Dog-Dog, Michi, DoDo and Bubby, Ginny, Fish, Krispies, Shoes, No, Yes, Stinky Feet, __________ (will have to ask Mimi what I am missing)
You can sign- More, Eat, Milk, Drink, Please, Cereal, Mommy, Baby, Sign, Up, All Done, Fish, Bird, Dog, Horse
Big Girl- You finally have your third tooth, a little bit more hair and just zipped from a 3.5 shoe to a 4.5 overnight.
Monkey see Monkey do- The other day I found you holding the handle of a bladeless razor and "Shaving" your leg. I was roaring with laughter, you've MAYBE seen me do this once. How do you put these things together? You can also go up the stairs by yourself and only yesterday did you find a forgotten gate. Unfortunately you also took a tumble and are sporting a little forehead bruise.
Check you out- When playing with my glasses you pointed at your eyes. So making conversation I said "Those are for Mommy's eyes, where are Daileyanne's eyes?" You pointed right at yours. ::Beam with pride:: How smart you are! So I ask "Where is Dailey's head?" again you pointed right at it. ::Whoo Hoo!:: Then nose, belly, mouth, teeth and feet. All found with no guiding and a big grin ::Swoon:: You my child, are a genius.
Everything in it's place- You still have a thing for sorting and lining things up. Right now on the sidewalk is 11 acorns all in a row. Every time I walk past them I smile. :)
Chores to be done- In the evening you ask to "Eat Dog-Dog". Mimi opens the dog food bucket, helps you fill your cup and you chat to the puppies as you walk it determinedly to the dog bowl. Sometimes you get distracted (once you filled a stray suitcase with kibble) or spill a few along the way but 20 pieces at a time they get fed! It's hysterical and we love you for it.
Games- We still play a fair amount of "Stinky Shoes" and you like to hand over your baby doll for a kiss. (I hope I always remember your request by "Mmmmm Ma" sounds). You ride Virgina and can get off and on your rocking horse with no help. The pantry is your FAVORITE place to play and the cans are constantly being rearranged.
I love you babycakes and love every day I spend with you! Can't wait for Daddee to come home for his RnR so he can see you in action. TWO MONTHS! :D
