Music with Daddy

When Patrick and I were in Germany there was four English channels on TV all of which played reruns on repeat. As hard as it was to watch American Idol five day after the finally we were able to fill our afternoons with so many more memories then TV would have ever provided. Some of my favorite are of Patrick playing "House at Pooh Corner" over and over so he could pick out the cords. He'd sing every couple of rounds and I'd tease him about needing to get it down before we could have babies to sing it too.
It's almost six years later and he still doesn't know every strum. Few nights ago the CD went back on repeat and Patrick stumbled through the first few times. He'd play and she'd dance. Her little legs kicking the percussion into the wood of his guitar. Only the chorus was sung while they focused on the music. Dailey didn't seem to mind.
And neither did Mommy.
Be still my bursting heart!
