Monica, Gabe and Ayden are in town for Thanksgiving so we thought we'd spend some time in the city before the big day. We started our Boise adventure with breakfast at Goldy's and banana pancakes.... Yuuuummm! Daileyanne slept through the whole meal and only woke up as we were leaving. Just in time to meet a fun family who's little boy was wearing knitted soakers. I chatted with her for awhile about baby wearing (which is awesome and I can't advocate enough) and about Dailey's own Mimi knitted apparel. Those sweet little hats make me friends all over the state!Adyen needed to get a picture of his class mascot in front of the capital building so we took a walk over. Couldn't resist a little shopping along the way too.
Then we had a great time at the Discovery Center. I was really blown away with how interactive Dailey was with everything. She wasn't a big fan of mirrors which is unusual because she likes the huge mirror at home. (But normally Patrick is doing a big dance number with her in that one) She did like the lighting in the place, the colors in the mini grocery store and the wind tunnels that made beach balls dance. Her eye were following all kinds of things. She actually even got a little sassy whenever I stood in one place for too long!
It looks like the grown-ups had a good time at the Discovery Center too! goldy's for breakfast two times in one month. oh lala
