I love this picture for none of the reasons you are supposed to like pictures. Maybe we just don't have enough snapshots in our lives and thats making it all the more special for me. Theres my baby drifting off in her "house cleaning" carrier. Her chubby legs swinging freely and embraced in knitted socks. Me with finally brushed hair (glad you're home P) and life still going on in the background- Peter's jacket that never makes it to the closet, Patrick's ongoing puzzle table, emergency diaper bag full of outdated newborn diapers, a plant from our best friends that neither thrives nor dies, blankets on the dog couches and curtains that Mimi made that perfectly match my Grandma's Pasta Man print (not shown). It's our catch all room and it makes me happy to have captured her first house in this state. Hope she sees this one day and recognizes pieces from this room in other houses of her childhood.
Maybe not the plant... it's longevity is questionable.
Claire ,Don't tell anyone at Green's you have a dying plant.... by the way.. Dailey, if you have get lugged around helping with the house work... it's a fashion statement to wear knitted socks...you rock
