Today continues Wear Your Baby Week and we celebrated by....wearing our baby! Tonight was the Honorary Commander Change of Command Ceremony and we took Daileyanne. At first we thought I'd stay for the cocktail hour and sneak out with my potentially squeaky baby before the ceremony. But our gal was blissfully happy in her sling and hunkered down for a nap so I was able to stay! Patrick was able to show her off (his favorite pastime) and I was able to socialize a little (my revived favorite pastime!). We even snuck in a feeding ...shhh... don't tell on us!
On another note we'll be starting our weekend off by picking up Mimi and GreatGina at the airport tomorrow- HOORAY!- but then saying goodbye them to Uncle Peter who is off to basic training on Tuesday- BOO! Whatever will Dailey do without her best buddy in the house?

Do you like your ring sling? Great pics!
ReplyDeleteHello
ReplyDeleteHello, This time my response seems to be working. The child is beautiful! Hopefully her hair, although it is not red, will be curly. Keep the pictures coming. The time you are giving to this will be very appreciated by Daileyanne when she gets older. The two of you will be most appreciative as you grow older.
ReplyDeleteLove you!
I was going to recommend a Moby Wrap to you, but it looks like you figured it out with a much more affordable option! I miss wearing my little babies! :(
ReplyDeleteI'll send you a couple of pictures. There is a cute one I have with Kennedy in a mei tai with my huge pregnant belly sticking out!
