Today you are two months old! Everyone told me to enjoy this time with you because kids grow up so fast but I would have never have believed how fast you really would. Oh and GROW you did! You have the cutest thighs- they are these huge meaty things but because you have so little muscle tone they are so soft and supple. You have an extra chin, a crease around your wrist, round cheeks that I love to nibble, dimples in your elbows, your fingers and your knees. They are so sweet!
You love hanging out with Dad in your front carry pack, as I type this you are helping him do a puzzle and sqawking. Your legs are getting stronger and you dance when your feet are braced against my legs. You now have more control over your smiles and no longer do your little one sided "stroke smiles". I miss them. But you do reward me with dozens of smiles a day which helps a little. Sometimes you add a laugh hiccup in as well! All your red hair fell out (Aww) and has come back as a dark brown. Your eyes are still blue grey but there is a caramel colored ring around your pupils. You sleep with your left arm thrown above your head and your right one out straight. At night you start in the middle of the bed and somehow manage to scoot all the way over to press up against me. When we are both laying on our sides and your feet are bare you walk your toes up my stomach. You also sleep through the entire night now- Way to go you! Diaper changes and clothing exchanges are much smoother now, there's no more crying and you like to hang out on the table. The ceiling must be interesting in there. :) You are not phased by being passed around among all your grown up friends. Your eyes can now follow people walk around and you looooove staring at Bug who hangs from your car seat handle. When Uncle Peter, Dad or I talk you'll try to find us in a room. It does take a handful of head tosses to figure out you want to look straight forward which is pretty funny to watch. You can almost drive your arms but have a tendecy to throw them about to quickly and it startles you each time. Finally- You have almost almost figured out how to seperate your thumb from your fist and insert it in your mouth.
You make my laugh little girl and I love you so very much!
Mom
